NJStar Chinese WP 4.33

A Simplified and Traditional Chinese word processor for Windows 95 or later versions.  Non-expiring shareware.  It has the most input methods of all Chinese word processors.  You can input compounds and phrases, not just individual characters.  The shareware version is supplied with bitmap fonts, the professional version is supplied with TrueType fonts.  In addition to its own file type, it opens and saves RTF files and Big5, GB, HZ, UTF-8, UTF-7 and UTF-16LE encoded plain text files.  You can create tables but not automatically numbered footnotes.

KEY 2.0

A Chinese word processor for Windows 95 or later versions.  Shareware permanently disabled after the trial period.  It has its own Unicode TrueType fonts and sets of single-byte TrueType fonts.  Single-byte fonts are very useful in DTP and graphics programs that do not support Unicode.  ZZZ Mingti, the default single-byte set of  fonts, consists of 187 "partition fonts."  You can input compounds and phrases, not just individual characters.  In addition to its own file type, it opens and saves RTF files and Big5, GB and HZ encoded plain text files.  It can export files to HTML in Big5, GB, HZ, Shift-JIS, KSC and UTF-8 encoding.  You cannot create tables or make automatically numbered footnotes.

DingDang Write 2000

A Simplified Chinese word processor for Windows 95 or later versions.  Non-expiring shareware.  It can read aloud Chinese.  It uses Unicode TrueType fonts and supports all single-byte languages you have fonts and keyboards for, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic or Hebrew.  The shareware version can open and save RTF files and open GB or GBK encoded plain text files.  The commercial version can save RTF files and GB encoded plain text files.  You cannot create tables or make automatically numbered footnotes.

You will have to update two DLL's in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder if  DingDang does not display Chinese:
